About Me
Welcome! My name is Shane Melvin and I've always had a passion to help others which led me into the health and wellness field. I've been a massage therapist since 2009 after much nudging from family and friends due to my natural talent with massage. Although I loved helping others, I neglected to focus on my own health which resulted with me being diagnosed with fatty liver and gallbladder disease in early 2019.
I consulted with four different doctors, but conventional medicine gave me no options besides surgery. Being a God-fearing man, using basic logic, I know God gave us every single organ for a purpose and it did not make sense to rip it out because I abused it. After extensive research I came across Andreas Moritz' book "The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder flush" and discovered Dr. Stephen Cabral. Combining their protocol and lab testing I was able to avoid surgery and successfully flush out gallstones despite what the doctors told me. In addition, I also lost over 90 pounds and kept it off!
This experience and recovering from my symptoms motivated me to become an integrated health practitioner(IHP) and an Ayurveda Wellness Counselor(AWC) so I can help others with the ‘dis-ease’ in their body.
I live in Grand Prairie, TX with my wife and two daughters. In my free time I love going to baseball games, taking long meditative walks in the park and taking vacations to Disney every chance we get!
